Genesis Computing is looking for a seasoned Territory Sales Representative to build and lead our presence in the Pacific Northwest market. This is a founder’s seat for the region—a unique opportunity to shape the sales motion from scratch, own key enterprise relationships, and ultimately build a high-performance team around your success.This role is ideal for a top-performing enterprise seller who thrives on building pipelines, running complex sales cycles, and turning white space into repeatable revenue. You should bring experience from leading enterprise technology providers (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Palantir, Anthropic, Microsoft, Google) and be trained in rigorous, structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, MEDDPICC), with formal training experience from companies like PTC, EMC, or ADP.
What You’ll Do
Build and execute a go-to-market strategy to penetrate enterprise accounts.
Own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery to POC execution, business case development, negotiation, and close.
Drive technical validation and manage proof-of-concept (POC) engagements to closure, ensuring alignment with customer goals and creating clear business case justifications.
Accurately qualify, forecast, and close deals using structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC/MEDDPICC.
Cultivate strong relationships with engineering and business stakeholders, including VP and C-level executives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales engineering, and leadership to align customer needs with solutions.
Represent Genesis Computing at local industry events, customer meetings, and strategic engagements.
Prepare the territory for scale by contributing to early-stage hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of future sales team members.
Who You Are
7+ years of enterprise B2B technology sales experience with a consistent track record of overachievement.
Demonstrated ability to build a territory from scratch and grow it into a repeatable, scalable revenue engine.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles at enterprise accounts.
Mastery of structured selling frameworks—particularly MEDDICC or MEDDPICC—for qualification, forecasting, and deal strategy.
Strong command of pipeline development, outbound prospecting, and account planning.
Prior sales training from highly disciplined sales organizations (e.g., PTC, EMC, ADP, or similar).
Expertise in value-based selling and business case development.
Confidence engaging both technical buyers and business executives.
Comfortable using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other modern sales platforms.
Grit, resourcefulness, and the ability to thrive in a startup or high-growth environment.
Bonus Points
Experience selling platforms or infrastructure in AI, data, cloud, or cybersecurity.
Familiarity with the competitive landscape including Snowflake, Databricks, Palantir, Anthropic, Microsoft, and Google.
A network of enterprise contacts.
Leadership aspirations or past experience building and managing a sales team.
