Sales Development Representative
New York Metro (On-site preferred)
Genesis Computing.ai is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to join our New York Metro team. You'll work directly with our Territory Sales Representative to build pipeline and establish Genesis Computing's presence in the NYC enterprise market. We're looking for someone with the skills and ambition to eventually grow into either SDR team leadership or outside sales as we scale our operations.

What You'll Do

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and identify high-value enterprise prospects within target industries (Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail)
  • Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, events) to generate qualified meetings
  • Maintain a pipeline of active prospects with consistent activity tracking
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimize campaign performance and lead quality
  • Use the best in-class GTM AI Agents to aid in your target prospect list and outreach process.

Relationship Building & Qualification

  • Conduct discovery calls with C-level executives and senior decision-makers
  • Qualify prospects using structured methodologies (BANT, MEDDICC frameworks)
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives
  • Maintain detailed prospect intelligence in Salesforce CRM 

Collaboration & Development

  • Participate in sales training programs and methodology certifications
  • Shadow senior sales calls and contribute to deal strategy discussions
  • Support territory analysis and competitive intelligence initiatives
  • Assist with process optimization and team development projects

Market Intelligence

  • Track competitive landscape and market trends in enterprise AI/computing
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on prospect conversations
  • Represent Genesis Computing at industry events and networking functions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Related extracurricular activities - sports, clubs, associations, etc. 
  • Related internship that involved sales and marketing 
  • Strong communication skills with ability to engage C-level executives
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset and leadership aspirations

Preferred Experience

  • 1-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in enterprise technologyPrevious experience at enterprise technology companies (Cloud, AI/ML, Data platforms)
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota in a metrics-driven environment
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales automation toolsFamiliarity with enterprise software sales cycles (6+ months)
  • Experience selling to Financial Services, Healthcare, or Fortune 1000 companies
  • Knowledge of structured sales methodologies (MEDDICC, MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale)
  • Previous mentoring or training experience
